Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our friendly team at Brentwood Care Centre.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Weekly audits including fire alarms, water temperatures, inspecting premises including air conditioning and recording on forms.
- Low level maintenance work to ensure that the setting is safe and well maintained.
- Keep good records of all tasks performed.
Requirements
- Relatively recent experience as a maintenance officer or caretaker.
- Multi-trader with experience in some of the following: decorating, minor plumbing, handy man duties, minor joinery, electrical PAT testing of items.
- Preferably prior experience working in a care home environment (preferred but not essential).
- Availability for occasional call outs.
- Lives reasonably locally, i.e. within a reasonable travelling distance.
