Maintenance Millwright

Position available at a manufacturing / production plant inPinetown for a qualified and experienced maintenance millwright. The main purpose is to repair and maintain all buildings and electrical- and mechanical aspects of machines, equipment and tools.

Job Requirements

• Millwright trade test certificate (Electrical & Mechanical).
• Minimum five (5) years' experience as a qualified artisan.
• Mechanically sound and electrically strong.
• Code B driver’s license.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Asset management to maintain buildings, structures, equipment and machinery in standard conditions.
• Conduct inspections, breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
• Annual shutdown action plan, resource allocation and execution.
• Attend and react to standby and callouts expediently.
