Job Description
**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on machinery such as conveyors, ovens, heaters, chillers, baggers, fillers, coolers, and other packaging equipment.
+ Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments, accounting for approximately 80% of the work, with the remaining 20% focused on electrical tasks.
+ Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLC-controlled equipment and support troubleshooting of control systems.
+ Set up, adjust, and modify machinery to support production needs and product changeovers.
+ Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and take corrective action before failures occur.
