Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Position performs work involving the repair, maintenance, and installation of facilities nonproduction industrial plant machinery, equipment and systems, pipefitting and electrician duties. Responsibilities Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial equipment at a journeyman level. Works from oral instructions, wiring diagrams, and work orders from shop work leader of supervisor. Installs new equipment following manufacturer's manuals and makes adjustments to assure proper operation of the unit.
