The Maintenance Mechanic performs diversified duties regarding the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment for Reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex and high precision numerical control machine tools
- Assists in developing continuous improvement actions through use of TPM/TPR concepts
- Identifies mechanical malfunctions and operating difficulties and makes necessary repairs to keep machines in production and operating efficiently
- Rebuilds and overhauls components such as gear boxes, tool changers, cylinders, index units, motors, and pumps when applicable and necessary
- Inspects, repairs, and replaces hydraulic and pneumatic system components such as pumps, valves, regulators, cylinders, and lines
