Maintenance Manager – Luxury Island Resort - Mozambique
A leading luxury Island resort in Mozambique is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all technical and maintenance operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure the lodge runs efficiently while delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining high sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
-Oversee all lodge maintenance: electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, air-conditioning, carpentry, generators, solar, and hot water systems
-Manage water treatment, sewerage systems, and routine water testing
-Implement preventative maintenance programs and lead maintenance projects
-Manage maintenance budgets, stock, tools, and supplier relationships
-Supervise and lead maintenance teams
-Ensure minimal guest disruption during maintenance work
-Support lodge sustainability initiatives and maintain high performance standards
