Job Overview:
The Controls Technician will assume basic tasks relating to the production machines and will troubleshoot electrical and Mechanical problems on equipment. This position is responsible for observing equipment to provide feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
Hours: Monday-Thursday from 3:30PM-1:30AM (Potential overtime on Fridays)
Highlights of your role:- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, providing feedback and ideas before any implementation of controls changes. (i.e. wiring changes, programming changes, or part change out such as VFD, servo motors)
- Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems and the need for service.
- Learn the skills required to navigate PLC Programming.
- Work efficiently with work order system (EAM) to document repairs and PM maintenance throughout the plant.
