Job Description

• Operate lathe (torno) machines, and other machining equipment such as milling machines, grinders, and drills.
• Fabricate, repair, and recondition machine parts based on drawings, samples, or instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and materials for machining operations.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Conduct routine machine inspection, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure finished parts meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures, proper tool handling, and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, or Engineering teams regarding repair requirements.
• Maintain basic records of work completed, materials used, and machine conditions.
