Machine Tool Maintenance Technician
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on suitability and level of experience) + additional allowance.
We are looking for a Machine Tool Maintenance Technician to join AWE Production and Assets. Your role will drive the performance and reliability of cutting‑edge equipment, including installation, breakdown support, maintenance, servicing, and error mapping. You will work closely with Machine Tool Engineering Teams to apply the Machinery Directive and relevant standards and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Investigation, troubleshooting and repair of machine tools, covering mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Planning, scheduling and execution of planned maintenance tasks.
- Co‑operate with engineering teams to meet production and safety objectives.
