Machine Operator

This role is based initially in Orroroo, with site locations changing over time. All work is in rural and remote locations, and the role involves significant travel and working away from home.

This is a hands‑on role combining plant operation and labouring, ideal for someone who enjoys remote work, long hours, and working as part of a small, reliable crew.

Roster & Hours

• 21 days on / 7 days off (no alternative rosters available)
• 10–12 hour days

Key Responsibilities

Depending on site requirements, duties may include:

• Rod, Rope & Hauling operations – hauling multiple cables by hand and machinery, conducting quality checks
• Civil works – repairing blockages and infrastructure
• Operating plant and equipment such as:
  • Excavators
  • Dozers
  • Vacuum trucks
  • Winches
