**Job Description**
The Machine Operator sets up and runs a dedicated punch press line, performing light maintenance, part changes, and basic troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly. This role uses hand and power tools regularly.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a dedicated punch press line safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
+ Perform very light maintenance on machines, including basic adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
+ Change out parts and tooling on the punch press according to production requirements and instructions.
+ Use hand and power tools confidently to complete daily tasks and equipment adjustments.
+ Monitor machine performance, identify basic mechanical issues, and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
+ Handle and move materials and parts, consistently lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
