As a Permanent Machine Operator for CN, you'll play a key role in maintaining train-ready infrastructure across various locations. This role requires proficiency in operating on- and off-track machinery, track inspection, and compliance with safety standards. Your contributions directly support the economic flow by ensuring tracks are safe and sound.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment for track repair and maintenance
• Remove and replace defective ties and rails
• Correct deviations in track surface and alignment
• Install and repair railroad crossings
• Maintain clear right-of-way and drainage
