Machine Operator
Mancan in Massillon is assisting a local Massillon company that is looking for a machine operator. This is a 1st shift position 7am-3pm Monday - Friday paying $18 an hour.
The desired candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Machine Operator in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Prior experience with press and/or 4-slide machines is a plus. Must be able to read prints and job guides to perform the setup and operation of one or more ring forming machines. Need strong communication skills and efficient time management skills. Attention to detail is very important in this position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Follow proper procedure for the set up and operation of machines to obtain quality control OK. Includes loading and unloading of wire, heat treating part where required and changing all necessary tooling.
