Machine operations technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in preparation for machine operations and handle multiple skill levels for machining activities.
• Handle more complex equipment and machinery.
• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Set up and operate computer‑controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal or plastic workpieces.
• Perform first‑article inspections and spot checks throughout the process to ensure quality of the part.
• Execute plastic assembly processes—from manual to complex assemblies.
• Adhere to and participate in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations...
