Qualifications

Teaching Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (Part 1, Part 2 and/or Specialist). As per the Education Act and Regulations, unless otherwise specified.

Appointment

This assignment shall be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Elementary Collective Agreement, where priority placement will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Elementary Teacher bargaining in order of seniority. In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.
