TITLE: LICENSED PRATICAL NURSE (LPN)
DEPARTMENT: NURSING
SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Director of Care or Designate
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: HCA’s
EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program required.
EXPERIENCE: Recent, related, experience in the applicable clinical area may be required, or preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Good physical and mental health. Moderate to heavy physical effort required. Good communication skills are essential.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION/LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM). Current Family & Friends registration at the Targeted Responder Level is required.
LANGUAGE: Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written) required.
