Job Description
Shape Indigenous resource management as a Referrals Analyst with LNIB in Economic Development. This role requires expertise in Crown consultations, focusing on preserving natural resources within the Traditional Territory.
The Referrals Analyst (General) works closely with the Title and Rights Manager, managing referrals and analyzing their impacts on Nlaka’pamux Title and Rights. You’ll engage with Crown governments and proponents to advocate for comprehensive consultations while developing strategies that honor Indigenous teachings and laws.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and respond to referral requests collaboratively
• Conduct impact assessments of proposed developments
• Draft reports aligning with LNIB’s Cultural Heritage Policy
• Coordinate with external partners on project evaluations
• Facilitate internal and external meetings to discuss referrals
