Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and training to FedEx's security officers and contract guards to ensure the safety and security of FedEx property.
• Administer security programs for FedEx management, employee groups, and customers in country.
• Select, train, develop, motivate, and supervise contract guards.
• Ensure and oversee the appropriate response to all emergency and crisis situations.
• Conduct investigations into thefts, pilferage, acts of vandalism, misconduct, and other activities detrimental to the company, its employees, and its customers.
• Review country, station, ramp, hub, and office security practices and develop corrective action plans to ensure corporate and local compliance.
• Monitor, analyze, and recommend ways to improve service, practices, reduce costs, and package losses.
