General Job DescriptionInvolves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to front‐line operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities and local customer service.
While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of the time is spent on office‐based activities.ResponsibilitiesPrepare all necessary customs forms to allow import, export and transit procedures to be carried out in a timely, efficient and effective manner for shipments arriving and departing by air (e.g., master guides, cargo manifests, general declarations, invoices and any additional related documentation).
Prepare forms detailing custom duties, duties and taxes / VAT.Prepare international manifests to ensure cargo release in a timely manner.Ensure full compliance of all ramp activities with country policies, tax laws and FedEx rules, procedures, practices and policies.Interact with customs officials and co...
