Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Live-In Support Worker with Taproot Community Support Services in Port Alberni, BC. You'll provide essential support to individuals with diverse needs while enjoying free room and board during shifts.
In this casual/on-call role, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities and health care requirements as outlined in their person-centered plans. You will work collaboratively with various services and stakeholders to promote dignity and respect for those you support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care
• Implement individualized daily schedules and support learning
• Administer medications according to policies
• Maintain effective communication with families and team members
• Document case management and individual progress reports
Requirements:
• Experience with youth or adults with complex behaviors
