Literacy trainer

Role Description: The Literacy Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Vhembe district. The person in this role will deliver literacy-focused training to teachers and education practitioners, using READ’s methodologies and materials to improve classroom practice and learner outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and facilitating training workshops, supporting lesson implementation, observing classroom practice, and providing feedback and coaching to educators. The Literacy Trainer will also assist with developing and adapting training content, maintaining accurate training records, and contributing to monitoring and evaluation activities. Collaboration with school leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders is essential to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery.
