Infrastructure Linux Engineer with SC Clearance
The Bank has a requirement for an experienced Linux Admins/Engineers to join Digital Platforms which is involved in the standards, development and maintenance of a number of systems across the organisation. The resource would work on a mixture of BAU / Continuous Improvement works.
The Linux Engineer will be involved in the following activities, amongst others: Provisioning of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 to 10) systems in both physical and virtual environments
In-Situ upgrading of RHEL servers using LEAPP upgrade tool
Development of scripts for automated configuration management, monitoring, batch and deployment activities
Provide recommendations for improvements to current delivery and operational processes and procedures
Advise project managers on Linux-related technical and delivery matters
