Dakota’s On The Cove is a waterfront restaurant in Throggs Neck with indoor dining, outdoor seating, events, and a growing beer garden-style operation. We are looking for reliable, hard-working Line Cooks to join our kitchen team and help execute consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
ResponsibilitiesLine Cooks are responsible for preparing and executing menu items during service while maintaining quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Set up and stock stations before service
- Work assigned stations such as grill, sauté, fry, garde manger, or prep
- Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and timing
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
