Lifting Engineer (Outside IR35) The Lifting Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all lifting operations are meticulously designed, planned, and executed in accordance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing detailed lift plans, verifying equipment suitability, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and providing expert technical support for both routine and complex lifts. Key Responsibilities Develop and review lifting plans, procedures, rigging studies, method statements, and risk assessments. Calculate load weights, centres of gravity, sling tensions, crane capacities, and lifting arrangements. Assess and approve the selection of lifting equipment, including cranes, slings, shackles, spreader beams, and lifting frames.
