Job Description
Engage in meaningful patient care as a Lab Patient Technician (Float) at LifeLabs in Point Edward, ON. This part-time position focuses on specimen collection and patient support.
LifeLabs seeks a dedicated Lab Patient Technician to contribute to high-quality diagnostic services. You will be responsible for greeting patients, performing phlebotomy, and handling special test collections. We are looking for candidates with strong empathy and flexibility who can thrive in patient-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and provide information to patients regarding procedures
• Conduct phlebotomies and ECG tracings as needed
• Complete medical/legal test collections and required paperwork
• Respond to client inquiries and maintain relationships
• Prepare specimens for testing and ensure proper documentation
Requirements:
• Preferred graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program
• Experience in phlebotomy is an asset
