Job Description
Responsibilities include monitoring swimmers, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies. Must have current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
Lifeguard - Temporary
Pay Status and Classification: Non Exempt, temporary part-time
Work Location: This position is an onsite role and is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Supervisor: Swimming & Diving/Aquatics Director
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise swimmers and maintain a vigilant watch over the pool area
+ Enforce pool rules and safety regulations
+ Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies, including rescues and administering first aid/CPR as needed
+ Conduct routine pool checks
+ Assist with setting up and maintaining pool equipment--vacuuming, cleaning up the pool deck

+ Must hold current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent)
