Licensed Practical Nurse - Urgent Care

Not a 9‑to‑5? Neither are we. East Edmonton Urgent Care is growing and hiring Licensed Practical Nurses who prefer evenings, nights, weekends, and work that makes a real difference. At this time, patient intake hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. While intake ends at those times, care often continues beyond intake hours, and some shifts may extend as late as 2:00 AM to ensure patients already in the clinic receive safe, complete, and uninterrupted care. This is an urgent care environment, intended for non‑emergent conditions; however, patient status can change. Nurses must be prepared to quickly recognize deterioration, act decisively, and escalate care appropriately when situations evolve.
