Job Description
Join A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre as a Licensed Practical Nurse I on a temporary call-in basis. Support clients' nursing care while embracing safety in all practices.
This position in the Central Zone involves providing nursing care to clients who are physically ill, disabled, or cognitively impaired. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, focusing on person-centered care and improving safety protocols. The role requires commitment and effective communication skills to foster a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care under Registered Nurse supervision
• Promote person-centered and family-centered care
• Support safety initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Move and assist clients in various physical conditions
• Collaborate with team members for effective care delivery
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
• Current BLS certification and practical nursing registration
