LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse
Serenity Hospice provides caring and compassionate hospice care services to patients and families throughout New Jersey. Our mission is to alleviate pain and symptoms; foster a state of calmness and harmony; and encourage an appreciation of family, friends, and life experiences.
Serenity Hospice is looking to add a dedicated and compassionate LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse to maintain the comfort and optimize the quality of life of terminally ill patients and their families under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care at the patient’s place of residence as indicated.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team to assure that the aims of continuity and comprehensiveness of care are accomplished.
- Understand Hospice philosophy, principles of death / dying.
- Compassionate communication with their patients and their families.
