Licensed Practical Nurse

This position is currently in Grande Prairie within a supportive office environment. You will be working in conjunction with Case Managers as well as work with HCAs that are supervised by the Personal Support Coordinators. Additionally, you will work with allied health, community paramedics, EMS, lodge partners, pharmacies and physicians. This type of nursing requires someone with a strong skillset in assessment and critical thinking. You will be working with clients from birth to end of life spectrum. You will be required to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team as well as with the clients and their support networks. You will provide care to clients needing frontline nursing support and assist the HCAs trouble-shoot issues with the medications assistance program (MAP) and work with the Case Managers to identify risks to clients and possible interventions.
