Summary A Licensed Practical Nurse at the Loch Raven VA Medical Center serves as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team with selected patients and provides care to them on a regular and recurring basis. Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team with long and short stay resident care and provides care to them on a consistent and recurring basis. The incumbent will prepare and administer prescribed medications and perform treatments according to established policies/procedure. He/she will give complete personal and hygienic care. The Licensed Practical Nurse will also provide assistance with food and fluid intake, recording of I&O's; vital signs, medications, treatments, and patient care. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
