Job Description
Enhance production efficiency as a Licensed Millwright at Magna in St. Thomas, Ontario. This full-time role involves maintenance, inspection, and repair of critical machinery to minimize downtime.
As part of the Magna global team, you're expected to possess your own tools and a license as a Millwright. Ideal candidates will have industrial experience, especially in hydraulics and presses. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and productivity while embracing a culture of continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, repair, and maintain production equipment
• Notify supervisors of necessary replacement parts
• Participate in training apprentices as needed
• Follow safety protocols for equipment and tasks
• Assist in the continuous improvement process
Requirements:
• Licensed Industrial Millwright required
• Completion of specialized college courses
• Experience with hydraulics and presses preferred
