Job Description

Freese and Nichols is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our growing electrical team in Tampa or Orlando, Florida. As an Electrical Engineer, you will design and deliver electrical systems for water and wastewater systems for municipal, federal and private-sector projects while supporting project design and construction delivery, quality control, and the development of junior engineers.
What You’ll Do
Design complete electrical systems, including power, lighting, generator systems, and controls for water and wastewater treatment plant and pump station facilities
Analyze existing electrical systems and develop cost-effective improvements and modifications to rehabilitate or expand existing facilities
Support projects through all phases, from pre-proposal and design through construction
Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, and specifications
