We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Librarian to join our library team in Ajman. This full‑time position offers a salary of 1000$ per month and is suitable for Indian nationals living in Ajman.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the library’s collection by cataloging, shelving and organizing materials.
- Provide reference and research assistance to patrons in person or through online resources.
- Maintain the library’s systems and resources including computer systems, databases and physical materials.
- Assist with programming and outreach efforts to promote the use of the library’s resources.
- Train new staff members and oversee student workers’ tasks.
- Help with administrative tasks such as budgeting, ordering supplies and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services or programs for patrons.
