Report to the Transport Office at the start of shift for briefing
Comply with and follow all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety requirements, hygiene standards, and driver handbook guidelines.
Ensure all paperwork and pre-checks are completed accurately and in full.
Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
Ensure defects are reported promptly and that all defect reports are completed accurately and in full when required.
Always comply with all tachograph rules and regulations and promptly report any infringements.
Effectively manage working time in compliance with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph regulations.
Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks and recording
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Transport Department operations.
