Responsibilities
- Provide legal support & advisory to business divisions within the Maxis group to facilitate contracts and dealings with third parties.
- Collaborate with various departments within the Maxis group, especially the consumer business and sales & services teams, to understand their requirements and concerns with a view to provide legal advisory and support while ensuring compliance.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts (e.g. partnership and collaboration agreements with retail service providers, merchants, distributors, resellers, dealers, etc.).
- Draft and review customers’ terms and conditions for retail products and services.
- Provide legal advice on business operations relating to compliance, such as the Consumer Protection Act 1999, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
