Your Role
The Legal Officer (Documentation) primary role is to file and represent the Bank in court cases and other legal actions in order to protect the Bank's interests relative to the retail lending business specifically in Autoloans, Mortgage, Cards, and Unsecured Lending.
Your Impact
Litigation and Legal Services Functions
- Conducts extensive review of auto loan, mortgage, and card and unsecured accounts endorsed for legal action, which may be in the form of:
- Foreclosure of chattel mortgage.
- Filing of cases (Collection, replevin, writ of possession, estafa, BP22, etc).
- Acts as counsel for the bank in cases involving auto loans, mortgage loans, and CUL Loans, petitions for writ of possession, and monitors status of cases.
- Attends court hearings and meetings with clients, arbiters, court personnel, officer of the concerned government agencies, etc.
