Overview
The Officer, Legal supports the organization’s legal function through drafting, reviewing, and managing standard commercial contracts and related documentation. It also provides paralegal and administrative support for legal filings, case matters, and departmental coordination.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet standard commercial contracts, non‑disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, MOUs, and other legal documents under the supervision of the Manager, Legal Affairs.
- Maintain the contract lifecycle system, track key dates, obligations, and renewals, and identify and flag non‑standard terms, potential risks, and compliance issues.
- Assist the Director and Manager, Legal Affairs in gathering, organizing, and preparing documentation required for legal filings, case matters, and external counsel.
