LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

Part‑time (0.6 FTE) Learning Support Teacher effective 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2027 at Daaxiigan Sḵ'adáa Née K-12 School.

Qualifications

• A university teaching major, or its equivalent, directly related to the teaching position
• Understanding and being committed to the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, including the eradication of existing and persistent equity gaps for specific groups of children
• Completion of Level B Assessment Training course or willingness to obtain
• High level of skills related to successful classroom‑management, and to the development and maintenance of a positive classroom climate
• Experience with multi‑grade classes an asset
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, instruct and evaluate learning activities for students' strengths and for their academic, social, emotional and behavioural needs
