Learning Support Assistant

Hours:31 hours per week, term time only (Mon – Fri )+ INSET days or or part-time (hours to be advised)

Start Date: 03 September 2026

We are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to support the inclusion of identified learners with additional educational needs. We have full-time, part-time and maternity cover posts available. We require motivated and enthusiastic people who can work positively and effectively as part of a team and who can support individuals with complex barriers to learning. The successful candidate must have:

● Experience of working as part of a team

● Experience of working with children

● Good English and Maths skills

● Good ICT skills

● Excellent and effective communication skills

● Ability to work flexibly with a team and motivate students

● Demonstrate a positive attitude

● Motivation and resilience under pressure
