Learning Support Assistant

Due to our school being oversubscribed and growing we are looking to appoint suitably qualified Learning Support Assistants. We are ideally looking for candidates who could be available for 27.5 hours per week over five days (08:40 – 15:15). 

The role involves working closely with teaching staff to provide in class support and working with small groups. Successful candidates will be supporting all subjects across the curriculum but should feel free to identify any particular subject strengths in their application.

Full training will be given, and we encourage our learning support team to develop their skills with regular courses. Candidates should ideally have experience of working with young people; have excellent communication skills and a good general level of education. The role could also involve assisting students with physical disabilities and/or physical impairments to move around the school site.
