Elevate your winemaking career as the Lead Winemaker at SKYE CHASE Estate Winery in Elgin County, ON. Oversee the complete winemaking process, from harvest to bottling, while promoting an exceptional brand.
As a permanent full-time Head Winemaker, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and the General Manager. This role requires managing fermentation, blending, and aging while inspiring your team and upholding high standards of quality and innovation. Your expertise in viticulture and winemaking will be essential to producing some of Ontario’s finest wines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire winemaking process from harvest to bottling
• Manage fermentation and aging of wines throughout the production
• Lead recruitment and training of production staff effectively
• Maintain compliant records according to VQA standards
• Promote the SKYE CHASE brand at events and through tours
