Our client is a well‑established design and innovation company awarded the Great Place to Work certification. The role is based in Auckland with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Architect and Technology Director, overseeing three squads that include client and internal members.
• Lead and mentor frontend developers across multiple squads, fostering collaboration between client and internal teams.
• Build robust, performant, and accessible web applications, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement technically sound solutions.
• Advocate best practices for quality and security, help evolve engineering standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the web stack.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
