Job Description
WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Lead Professional, Signal Engineer-CBTC** to join our Transit and Rail/Systems Engineering in on of our New York or New Jersey offices. This position can be based out of: **New York City, Valhalla-NY, Troy-NY, Lawrenceville-NJ, Morristown-NJ** or **Newark-NJ** .
The Signal Engineer provides specialized technical support and oversight of both fixed-block signaling and application to the CBTC system program. This position ensures that signal designs, interlocking logic, and mixed-mode block configurations are reviewed, validated, and approved in compliance with NYCT operational principles and safety standards. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of both traditional relay-based signaling and software-based interlocking logic, with hands-on experience to support NYCT projects.
