LEAD POLICE OFFICER

Summary You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the COMMANDER, NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND of NAVBASE POINT LOMA SEC DET. Responsibilities You will serve as a Lead Police Officer, located in multiple Commander Navy Regions, and within a Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) installation. You will operate electronic security system equipment, to include virtual perimeter monitoring systems, RADAR, and counter unmanned vehicle detection and response systems. You will support force protection special events to include general public visits, congressional delegation, distinguished visitors and foreign dignitaries. You will defend installation personnel, equipment, and resources from terrorist threats or hostile attacks and operate specialized weapons and special purpose equipment such as night observation devices and portable detection equipment.
