GFL Environmental is actively seeking a skilled Lead Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in Estevan, SK.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex modern CNG and diesel engines, and advanced electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance tasks such as PM and safety inspections.
- Complete required record keeping associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Review, plan and schedule work as required.
- Mentor apprentice technicians and provide training to complete their apprenticeship program.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to company safety procedures.
- Ensure shop equipment and tools are kept in a safe operating condition.
