Lead Estimator – Mechanical

Based at our Rutherford operations, we are seeking an experienced Lead Estimator – Mechanical to lead the preparation of accurate, commercially competitive estimates for mining machinery overhauls, refurbishments, and upgrade projects.

Your technical expertise and commercial awareness will ensure tenders are accurate, compliant, and competitive, while supporting continuous improvement in estimating systems and processes.

 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for mining machinery overhaul and refurbishment projects.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and analyse project documentation and specifications.
• Prepare tender submissions including pricing, assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and risk assessments.
• Identify commercial and technical risks and develop practical pricing solutions.
