Job Description
**Central Transfer & Recycle Center (CRC)** , a Waste Connections company, is currently hiring a full-time **Lead Operator** to work in our transfer station in Vancouver, WA.
Schedule is **10:00 AM to 6:30 PM** on weekdays **(Monday, Tuesday & Friday)** and **6:00 AM to 4:30 PM** weekends **(Saturday & Sunday)** . Overtime often.
Wage is **$32.00/hour**
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Operating a forklift and baler.
+ Sorting out materials from customers.
+ Greeting, directing, discussing issues with, and educating customers of onsite rules and restrictions in a polite and courteous manner.
+ Directing and tracking incoming traffic and monitoring waste material flow.
+ Sorting customer loads - heavy lifting of metals.
+ Following all appropriate safety guidelines and precautions, wearing required safety gear, and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
