Elk Valley Resources is hiring a Lead for Regulatory Approvals Implementation to enhance our environmental compliance efforts. Drive impactful partnerships and lead initiatives across the mining sector.
Reporting to the Senior Lead Environment, your focus will be on implementing regulatory approvals and ensuring full compliance with all operational practices. Engage with various departments and local communities to facilitate understanding of EVR’s commitments. You'll also coordinate inspections and manage implementation effectively with a focus on HSEC tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement regulatory approval components for mining operations
• Educate staff on changes and compliance requirements
• Build partnerships with First Nations and government agencies
• Supervise contractors and multi-disciplinary teams
• Audit effectiveness of management plans and inspections
