About the Role
We are seeking talented Application Engineers dedicated to physical design in Cadence Korea. The chosen candidate will lead the physical design implementation projects for ASIC and Heterogeneous designs, focusing on low power and high speed solutions at the latest technology nodes.
Responsibilities
- Execute full physical design flow including floor planning, power grid design, place-and-route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, power/signal‑integrity sign‑off, DRC/LVS/antenna checks, EM/IR sign‑off, and DFM closure.
- Assist in or lead the development of next‑generation physical design methodologies and flows.
- Collaborate closely with RTL design teams to ensure successful tapeouts and integration.
- Perform verifications, testing, and characterization of own designs, and identify design‑level issues early.
